In my work I explore how sketching and photography work together to deepen my perception of the world. My sketchbooks are like sacred spaces, helping me fine-tune my observation skills and capture the spirit of historic buildings and unique places.

Through my art, I aim to uncover universal patterns and connections, drawing inspiration from the works of Hockney, Hokusai, and Ruskin. For me, the act of creating—whatever the medium—offers a way to connect with something timeless and luminous, bringing light to our shared human experience.

All my art sales go towards supporting my Genius Loci Digest - which is a counterbalance against these difficult times we find ourselves in. It also supports my work to provide photography for free to historic sites.

🎨 Atelier - About My Art
There’s a quote by Pablo Neruda that illustrates how I feel: “There is another reality, the genuine one, which we lose sight of. This other reality is always sending us hints, which without art, we can’t receive.”
