Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales is anchored by the castle and parish church opposite. King Henry VII was born here at the castle.

It’s difficult to explain, but my eyes seem to act like cruise missiles - spotting a potential target and then locking onto the detail.
At Winchester Cathedral, along the top of the screens to the presbytery are six caskets. Each one has been inscribed with lettering.
Surely one of the marvels of the late medieval world? The Great Screen was completed in 1476 and forms the backdrop (reredos) to the altar.
In the hope that they help others unburden and renew as much as they have for me it gives me the greatest pleasure to present - in the spirit of Hokusai - my Thirty Six Views of Beverley Minster.
We're inside a medieval building with panelled walls - the scene is part way through the installation of a traditional ceiling with decorative ribwork and motifs.
