Member Powered Photography

Member Powered Photography (MPP) has really taken off, allowing organizations and individuals to reinvest their photography budget into conserving buildings. For every 20 new members of the Genius Loci Digest, I commit to one free photo shoot.

With MPP reaching more people, there’s now a short waiting list for sites requesting MPP.

Donations

I want to create a focus for these donations so: for every £500 I receive in donations, I will do another free photography session for the community.

This will be in addition to the free shoot for every 20 new paying subscribers, so there are more ways of creating new MPP shoots and keeping up with demand.

Membership subscriptions are making a huge difference, and my hope is that by directing donations that I receive into an MPP pot will help me reach more deserving projects.

What does the £500 cover?

The cost of a photo shoot includes overheads, the travel to and from site, the cost of accommodation (camping fees in Woody) on site, and a day's photography on location. After that, it usually takes another day for post-production of the images. Therefore, a photo shoot, on average, takes around 2.5 days. The average cost of a photo shoot is £800 and I will fund any shortfall.
