Much Wenlock is a delightful town in Shropshire near to the border with Wales. There are many historic buildings that line the high street, but I was struck with Ashfield Hall because of its visible layers of history. A little time spent reveals a rich tapestry of time from the C15th (on the left side) to the C16th on the right.
